Today I came across a few very cool items I thought I should share especially with my mommies friends...
The first one is a complete Chef Set for Kids, complete with hat, apron, recipe book, cookie cutters, etc..

The next one is a DINNER SET puzzle....super cool.

The one below is a crisp maker for the whole family....OIL FREE! awesome...

And these are just some really cool looking ceramic cups....

 

Most of these items are from France, Belgium, Holland and other European countries and they are not cheap...but they are certainly innovative and make great gifts!!

The LARDER

I have had my eyes on this place for a while, but their business hours never coincided with my time in that area, until today.....

This is a Cafe'/Food Market serving delicious baked goods (the scones had just come out of the oven and smelled amazing!) and selling locally sourced Farm produce...

The staff is super friendly and the coffee STRONG! and...BONUS points for the bread which comes from my all time favorite bakery Oude Bank Bakkerij! 

Yum!!!

The Larder Cafe. 99 Main Rd, Diep River (cnr KENDAL) ENTRANCE opposite 4 Paddington Rd. Inside Block & Chisel building. 
Best way to get there is to take the N2 and take KENDAL ROAD all the way to Main....

Just Pure- Hermanus

What a lovely little shop!!...JUST PURE in Hermanus was just what we needed to escape the cold wind on a gorgeous Saturday morning last weekend. After ordering a Cafe Mocha to warm me up, I quickly realized there was a lot more to be discovered around the shop/bistro!

Just Pure is the home of a "natural" skincare and ambiance collection of products created by Tamsin Koen who launched it in 2007. Read her interesting story and background about these lovely products here . I was quickly reminded about the fact that 60% of every product we use is absorbed into our blood stream...!!! so I quickly got sucked into the purchase of an Eye Contour Oil....(twist my arm!)

The shop sells a lot of other great gifts, home furnishing, baby clothing and all things "pure" and pretty!

The "Bistro" serves breakfast all day and although we did not eat, there was a delicious smell coming out of the kitchen. I'll be sure to stop in again for a meal next time I'm in Hermanus. Sounds like the perfect place for an afternoon of Whale Watching ......
